Feeling better

Jefferson is home for Spring break. We've been chatting now and again, listening to the change in his perspective from clothing to people to life in Fremont...biggest change--going from a 3x to 2x and his fashion sense changing based on location. Intersting to see he can acknowledge that there is a certain amount of conformity that makes sense.... We went to Zorba's on Saturday--"the best cheeseburgers!" and then went shopping for shoes, basketball shorts and misc. other clothing. It was a joy to be out with the boys--laughing, watching their thoughts in action, looking for the perfect pair of shorts...boys are very girlie.

Spent the rest of the weekend lounging about...getting over this flu thingy that is wandering about.

Watched a documentary titled, "Dark Days" which is about a group of homeless people who were living in a subway tunnel. Incredibly ingenius, the things people do to survive. There should be a link to a clip via www.sputnik7.com (interesting films, some just odd others a bit off but mind food just the same).

First week in the city was good. Going to take in the SF MOMA on Thursday evening as it is open until 9:00. Looking forward to being out of my element, i.e., modern art is not my thing--but always provokes a challenge to my tastes thus lending itself to a re-affirmation of my existing views or causes me to rethink through my evaluations. The Yerba Buena has some interesting exhibits as well...next week.
