...iss

and i see first, just, "...iss"
and turn
to read
"pure bliss"

one stops
and sees
can feel
the beauty of those words

pressing gently
against
all sense(s)
and imaginings.

puzzles

a ghost of oneself
the game premised on two
a living embodiment
and a ghost that does the same

and a message appears, "i search for reasons why i don't seek companionship"

and the repetition continues

a replay

but not a do over

never a race

from city to city
leisurely reading
and listening

words from a screen
from a mind
from a heart

and the brief echo
an exhale
a quiet nod

Resisting change

"Let’s try understanding why people resist change first. If you are willing to learn, please give this a try -- (it only takes three minutes).

1. Grab a stopwatch or timer, and print your own full name on a blank piece of paper for as many times as you can in one minute. Record the number of times.

2. Now repeat the same exercise but switch hands. Record your time again.

What happened to your quality between the first and second time?

What happened to your productivity?

Finally, what happened to your stress?

If you could not use your favorite hand for long (like it was in a cast), would your quality and productivity eventually improve? How long do you think it would take to get back to initial levels?" (Bob Petruska)

locked within

As if in each moment the silent measurable choice is before you. What may I learn? What is the lesson? How will my life be positively or negatively impacted by my perception, how I conceptualize and integrate this idea, this person, these 'things' before me.

Have you watched another ponder and sense you are following their silent thought? Perhaps not the same in exactness, but in the process of reaching?
