We head out Tuesday evening...reservations made on the coast if we end up just chilling or day trips from San Jose from A3's house.
Eric is incredibly excited, "Man let's just go--I'm packed and everything. I don't care what we do--we're going." Our other son--Freddie's best friend. Freddie is still hesitant but asking questions. New places, the unknown, the unpredictable--not in his comfort zone and the defenses go up. It will be interesting to see his interaction with A3--Mr. Charming, put you at ease, have you laugh. And Freddie, class clown, silly, 16 but looks 22. Jefferson and A3 would hit it off immediately. Freddie and A3--I believe my brother will be delighted and laughing; I wonder what Freddie will say...the predictable, "you're nothing alike" or "you really are from ny" or "like you look alike but wow--opposites". Steve is running a difficult 100miler right now...actually he has probably completed it and so CR is an escape to rest and relax. Looking forward to meeting my nieces, who are crazy about Hannah Montanna (yup, had to read about that and actually open my eyes at the mall), and my sister-in-law Daneth. Smiles. Smiles. Should be a wonderful few days away.

I finally updated my previous ticket...and am scheduled to return to CR in October for nine days. Hopefully the house in Manuel Antonio is available during the same period...if not, then perhaps something entirely different...get on some local bus, ride in one direction and eventually find my way back to san jose in time to get on my flight home. Sounds perfect either way.
