the way in which one says something...parsed...contextless...can deliver a blow. i replay the expression on the face again and again. how ought i have said it--what would have been enough to not invite the feeling of assault, rejection, confusion?
an outsider looking in says, "you don't see yourself as others do."
echoes of the past, the present, predictable future. no...I guess I dont and most probably wont.
and another speaking of a nakedness of sorts. too intense. "you expect too much of others--you expect that they know themselves". not sure i expect anything other than they be what they are.
somewhere inbetween there is a common language, understanding, etc. somewhere.
