Errr

Still realize I am upset about the conversation over the weekend. How does someone tell you--talk at you--not listen--over speak you and tell you what is right and wrong for your child...and when they run out of all their erroneous reasons they land on the race card? What is more amazing is that he didn't ask any relevant questions, did not try to ascertain the truth or falsity of his premises...guess it works most of the time.Time to exit, to walk away.

And how does a basketball coach validate waving a wad a cash in a 13 year old boys face, saying "How much" just so he'll play on their team... he said it jokingly...but what are you teaching him--and under the surface there is no joke there.

Where were these people when he was just another little boy? And what about all the kids out there who just want someone to care about them...and all this talk about education and in the same conversation the word "scout" comes out...translation--the speaker gets a kick-back for his finds.

It's funny, it will never matter how much I love them or care about them or do for them...the final statement will be, "You're not one of us, you're not our kind, we know better for our own." Regardless of the amount of evidence that illustrates the exact opposite of their beliefs.

Need to get over it. It's just going to get way way way worse. Need to learn to deal with it.
