Who chats until 3:13am...lol...wow. Awoke this morning and the last msg. that appeared via Yahoo was "...logged out at 3:13am". Too much...and what can captivate one until 3:13am?
Uneventful day. Finished in class work in training. Reviewed some additianl data concerns with Mike. He asked me about the data cleansing and agreed that it would best to go through the recategorization effort. One thing to be very good at something, have the patience; but it's quite another to go through the excercise again and again...you realize that people just lack the discipline, lack the desire to really illustrate the issues, to show in red & green numerical language...here are your issues. I am amazed by this commonality. I am floored at comments along the lines, "I did that many years ago...have an analyst do it." And the amazement is not at the attitude as much as the reality--that they clearly no longer know how to do...an admittance that they never did it very well. Do people realize how much they confess in the offhand remark, in their way of standing, in the darting of their eyes or the calculated hesitation in their voice? The outburst...just reread, wow where did that come from? And what positive value can I actually derive from having that thought under the surface. Hmmmm.
Off to another hotel--no motel on a street called Priest at the crossroad Broadway. Juxtaposition...have to love it.
Jefferson arrives tonight. Off to Tuscon tomorrow and then ASU on Sunday. Then home. Returning in three days. It's time.
