Amazing time...3rd song in, "Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me"...walked to our side of the stage, looked right at us and afterward she said again and again, "I like that song--I like that song--I like that song--...". Wonderful. Beyond my imaginings.
The entire evening was wonderful. I will recommend Gladys Knight to anyone--she engages the audience, brings you back in time, pokes at herself, has a little comedy thing going on with her brother and original Pip. The whole evening was splendid--a true joy.
