Last week of training. Finished the Process Capability analysis for utilization...forty-five minutes of misunderstanding a Minitab error message, adjusting the parameters, going through all of the options...and realized the issue was in the zero--no "0" values allowed. BUT, in the end, the chart proves the point...and onto the next steps.
Looking forward to this week. Improve/Control...the areas we are weakest in and are required to get very good at in the near future. If there is a complaint about where we are in the infrastructure, it is in that we have been predominantly respoonsible for DMA only, execution is left to the business owner. Terribly frustrating...execution is the most difficult step and implementations falter when they are devoid of the their basis for change, "Do or else" is handed down without a cohesive understanding as to what validates the mods. Look forward to the technical and softside of this specific area...but getting it from one's head to a fully integrated state and illustrated in action--that will be the mark of this training.
Steve is in Tokyo. Jefferson goes to the Bahamas tomorrow. It is Cathy's birthday today. And Freddie is hanging with Erik all week.
